What’s the best way to make decent money online?
Things I’ve experimented with so far:
– Clickbank Affiliate Sales (I’ve made a little bit, but haven’t done an adwords campaign before)
- Clickbank Publisher (I wrote a book – it’s doing well; Sold many copies myself– can’t figure out why affiliates don’t jump on it)
- Adsense (heh… I make under a back a day… big deal)
Any more things I should try…..? Looking to make as much as possible without investing a lot.

P.S. Don’t recommend ebooks or get rich-quick guides. I’ve seen them all…. I’m not gonna purchase anything– just looking for advice from others who are into internet marketing as well.

I’ve heard people make good money sometimes on e-bay you just have to build a good rep. Or The Sims online. I’ve heard of peope making $ this way too.
The Web offers tremendous opportunities for those who know how to harness it. You hear of stories of people who earn thousands if not millions of dollars from doing business on Web. While there are many scams (same way in the traditional business world), there are various ways you can legitimately make money on the Web.
Here are the main ways you can earn money from the Internet:
1. Sell products on the Web – Big boys like Amazon or Lillian Vernon online catalog or smaller businesses like BigKidsVideo.com or Candle4Less.com all sell products on the Web.
You can either sell: (a) through your own storefront through your own website or applications such as Yahoo Stores; or (b) sell through online auctions like eBay

2. Information Delivery. Others such as About.com or EuropeforVisitors.com create content and monetize their content in a number of ways:
a. Advertising – there are several ways you can earn money from advertising:
1. Join an advertising network. Advertising networks are organizations that aggregate Web sites that offer advertising space, and sell banner ads (and other advertising options) across them. Traffic requirement is often a minimum of 5,000 monthly impressions, although many do not accept sites hosted by free page services.

3. Sell advertising for your site directly. This is admittedly a more difficult route for a small business site wanting to earn advertising revenues. But hey, as they say: “no pain, no gain!”
b. Affiliate Programs – you sell other people’s products that your audience may be interested in; and you get a certain commission after the desired action was done (whether a sale, a lead, subscription to email newsletter, or however this is defined)
c. Paid online content. Hoovers.com or WebmasterWorld.com Supporters forum all require paid subscription before accessing the information
d. Content licensing and syndication. Some publishers such as the Associated Press get paid every time their content is published elsewhere
I think that all the choices will be just what you describe–not a bad way to make a bit of passive extra money, but you can’t live on it. Since this question occurs with variations at least 3 times everyday on this site, you can see that a lot of people want the same thing–to make money while doing virtually nothing. It can’t be done, unless you’re willing to get into a pyramid scheme where the first ones in make a fraudulent buck and the later entries just pay and pay.

I have read all the ebooks too. But I want to recommend one that is FREE. You don’t have to put in your email address, there are no strings attached, etc. You may already know about it since you are in the business. But check out Site Build It/Site Sell. They have free ebooks (go to the site map). They make a lot of good points about PRE-selling to your customer instead of selling. As they put it – it is the job of the merchant to sell the product. You just need to pre-sell so that the person clicks through.
If nothing else, you may find something in the e-book to help tweak your business.
The e-book I think would be most appealing to you is the “Affiliate Masters Course”. 165 page free e-book. Of course, they are hoping you use their services in the future, but there is no obligation on your part and they don’t require an email address, name – nothing – for you to download it.
