I have been an affiliate for a year but making very few sales. How can I make good commissions? Please help!

One of the most important components to become successful in the field of affiliate marketing is choosing the right products. Affiliate marketing products are your primary commodity in which success or failure of your affiliate marketing business is heavily dependent upon.
The question is from the multitude of products available, how do you choose your affiliate marketing products? Another question will be is there such a thing as the right affiliate marketing products?
The first logical thing to do is to do extensive research on the available affiliate marketing products online. You will see that not all the products will sell vigorously- some sell like hotcakes while the others may need a little more boosts. Also, you will note that not all products will have the same payout in terms of commissions. Certainly, you will want to choose a product that is a combination of both- easy to sell and offers higher payouts.

I consider Amazon.com to be the Internet pioneer for establishing affiliate programs. Their strategy to permit others to sell their products for a commission on affiliate websites has single-handedly help them become an Internet powerhouse and has resulted in Amazon.com becoming a household name.
Transparency between advertisers and affiliates has been always an issue, especially for affiliates. Absence of real value delivered by networks seems to be even heavier topic for debates. For money that Commission Junction and other ad monsters charge, the value better be much more obvious for both – publishers and merchants. The variety of products on big networks is overwhelming, interface is to complicated, application to programs within the large network like CJ or PPJ can be exhausting. Moreover, they all look like clones to me.
