It’s become pretty common now for people to hide their Clickbank affiliate link because of the prevalence of affiliates replacing your hoplink and Clickbank tracking id with their own code and thereby hindering your ability to make money on the internet.

I don’t personally know how much this is done and wonder if it isn’t something of an overreaction to a few cases, and in any case the only person who can steal your commission is someone who understands internet marketing, Clickbank affiliate marketing and link coding. Maybe if you are promoting products in the internet marketing niche or even ‘make money online’ and getting a lot of hops then the statistics might start to rob you of some income, but I don’t expect that it is much of an issue if you are promoting how to golf or how to build a canoe at home in 5 easy steps.
