I used this resume writing service in my area, this is the email address, (resume.help50@yahoo.com) you should try them, it only cost me $35.00 and I got a great job from this new resume, I never thought about the format that they use but the turn around time was less then 24 hrs. I would have to say it was the best service I have ever used and it was worth every dime. Also they let me pay through paypal.

Hello,

If you are looking for a profile to fit in I would say there is simple way to do that. Visit popular websites like monster, careers or other job sites and do a search for jobs that interests you and look what they look for and what you need to have to get that job. Making a list of what you can offer and what people have to offer will put you in a better position to assess yourself and your capabilities.

As for a winning resume - there are several sites if you search in google which offer you this - but my personal experience is quite a logical approach. the purpose of a cv is to get you an interview and not a job. People think its to get a job - no. A winning resume should get you an interview and you should get the job later. So keep this in mind when you write a resume. A resume should have your strenghts in terms of facts and figures since people find it easier to relate to figures than just simple list of duties and responsibilities.

For eg: If in sales you could write - sales increased by 25% and revenues thus up by a "x" amount.

That not only shows your capability but also interests recruiters and managers that if they hire you they save money for the company.

Hope this helps.

Well what was it you had in mind for a career when you chose a history major/ anthropology minor?

I would think being a part of Feed the children and Habitat for Humanity could get you into some sort of other field (along with your BA).
I would inflate that part of your resume and possibly cut back elsewhere.
